Finding it hard...

...to get out of bed in the morning. After spending the night coughing like I'm bringing up a lung and sweating enough to soak the sheets, the last thing I feel like doing in the morning is getting up, getting all three of us dressed, give the girls breakfast, brush teeth and hair, pack bags, put shoes, jackets, scarves, hats and mittens on, making sure we have everything, putting Charlotte in the pram and walking to school and then garderie. Nope, would rather stay in bed.

Aussie Jen bought me a Dark Fruit Cake back from London recently and I made it into Mini Xmas Puddings. A woman emailed me a while ago asking if I was making them this year (she'd seen them at David's last year) so I'd been looking for ways to get me some Dark Fruit Cake (not possible here). I managed to make 58 and she has just come to pick them up. There is another fruit cake on it's way from London (via the post) and David asked MK if I was making them this year, so I'll contact him and see if he wants them.

There was a girl's night out last night (at Lyrique) but I passed...such a shame. I enjoy the girl's nights out (and this one had some people I hadn't seen in a while). Oh well, when ya sick ya sick. MK had already swapped with a guy at work (to go in later to nightshift) so he stayed here with me and we watched Taxi Driver with Robert deNiro. Neither of us had seen it...found out that when he says 'You lookin' at me?' he is actually in his apartment talking to himself (preparing himself to be a vigilante I think) not in his taxi. It also had Jodie Foster, Harvy Keitel and Cybill Shepherd. Fairly violent (esp at the end) and full on, but at least we've seen it now.
