Trip down Lausanne memory lane

Last Saturday afternoon we caught the bus into town. After I'd done some shopping at Promod (treated myself to a new pair of better-fitting jeans) we walked down Petit-Chene and had a bit of a reminisce. All the times we climbed that hill with Lily in the pram on our way into the centre of Lausanne. How it seems a lifetime ago that we first arrived here and lived in that little apartment near the train station. We walked through the train station (Lily and I shared a bag of chaud marron) and through the other side to our old apartment. Then down to the Coop which was completely renovated after we left (I'm convinced they'll do the same thing to the Migros downstairs after we leave!).

Then to my favourite gift store in Lausanne, then we walked to Montchoisi to catch the bus home to Pully. Which is where MK took this photo, as we waited for the bus.
