The 40th's begin

Tonight we are going to MK's friend Z's 40th birthday party. He only lives about 15mins away from MK's parents apparently so they'll look after the kids for us. And we'll all spend the night at Mike and Joanne's*.

Next weekend is their friend Leif's 40th party, then in September it will be MK's 40th. Big year for the 3 boys.

I've still got another 18mths...or so.

*I love having the support of family within reach. It just feels so normal and right.
