Xmas Eve

MK is on his way to the airport to pick up Christine, David and baby Sophie, the girls are watching a Wiggles video (Top of the Tots) and this is the first time I've sat down today. Not complaining (well, I was earlier) as I have got a lot done. And I had less to do today as I've been able to do lots over the past two days. Tarita came yesterday (from 3.45pm till 7.30pm) so I was able to go into town and get MK's present (and while I was in Payot - the bookstore - I bought my present from him as well). Then later, before Tarita left, I went to Migros and did a big shop.

So today Lily and I went to Coop and picked up the pre-ordered turkey and pork with crackle (the pork didn't look the same as when I ordered it, so hopefully it will be just as good...he did roll it for me which was how I saw the first one) and a Buche de Noel for dessert. We also went into Migros for some last minute stuff (more vegies, some foie gras, prawns that sort of thing). I've made a Lentil Soup for tonight and a Sweet Potato (Kumara) Crumble (from the current delicious. magazine) as a side dish tomorrow (although it's a typical yank side - very sweet).

I think we're set.
