Pneumonia

After the order pick up this morning I thought about going to the Vidy Medical Centre. Could really only get my head around it once work was out the way. Plus going today as a walk in was easier than making an appt with my dr sometime this week. So, once lunch was done and Charlotte was down for her nap (she woke early this morning - poor MK - so it was not surprising she slept) I took myself off.

They took my temp and blood pressure (both fine), then the dr listened to my lungs (afterwards he said they sounded clear). And then I had a chest x-ray (it's very good there - I had the x-ray straight away). When the dr came back, we looked at the x-ray together, 'interesting' he said and then told me I had pneumonia. Great. So I have been given a week's course of antibiotics (Avalox), cough syrup (Codipront Sirop) to take three times a day, more Dafalgan and my x-ray to take home.
