The interview for the 6mth contract in Melbourne
...went well. MK's start date is November 13th (Charlotte's birthday!). The boss originally suggested the week before and MK asked for the 13th.
He hasn't spoken to his boss here yet, but we've looked at the calendar (again!) to think about the finish date for this contract (and life...). MK is rostered to work a weekend shift the last weekend in October so one discussion we're having is to work that weekend and get the money or finish on the Friday before, forego the money but have the extra time. I want both!
It's good news about the job...
But hard to think about the reality of leaving here...

That is great news about the contract Robyn - gives you some breathing space at least when you get back down under.
It is so hard to be leaving - i know I felt like that about Germany - and you are going all so far.
