Weight Watchers here I come!

Ten years ago I lost 20kg with Weight Watchers and became a Lifetime Member. It was one of the greatest achievements of my life. On and off over the last 10 years I've contemplated becoming a WW Leader. In Adelaide, in Switzerland and back here in Victoria. But even though I'd make the phone call and begin the enquiry process, irrespective of how far I'd get in that process nothing would ever come of it (for varying reasons - in Switzerland it was because they didn't have the training material in English).

Until now.

I rang WW a couple of weeks ago and this time enquired about becoming an At Work Leader (or Consultant). That role really appealed to me. Within a week I had an interview at a local cafe with 2 managers and was receiving very good feedback on my suitability. I thought about it for a couple of days and rang them back and said I'd like to go forward. So, the training begins. I've been working through a workbook (in my own time) and on Friday I go into Melbourne for a 5 hour training day (paid). Then there's an assessment and I think I'm good to go. Apparently there's heaps of work in the city but not sure I want to travel the distance. I'm sending out positive vibes for close, interesting work...work place meetings or community. I feel open to either.

Time constraints will be one issue, though - with Charlotte at kindergarten this year my time is limited. But I'm still staying open to the possibilities. And considering WW advertises internally, who knows what may happen next year when both girls will be at school.
