Coffee morning, coffee afternoon

This morning the girls and I went to the monthly AWC Coffee Morning at Chateau d'Ouchy. Met a couple of nice women, talked about Now Baking, got the girls out of the apartment...result.

This afternoon went to Michele's for coffee. Grainne was there and met a new woman, Teresa. She's from Atlanta, Georgia in the States. Only been here a week. She has two girls (3.5 years old and 13mths) and Lily enjoyed playing with the older girl (Sidney). I invited them to Charlotte's party next week. Continue the tradition of inviting someone I've met the week before to my kid's b'day party.

Funny thing is Teresa's husband is the guy who calls my Apricot and Coconut Balls insane. Michele had told me about his comment ages ago and it made me laugh. It's a compliment apparently. Anyway Teresa told me today that he took some Balls back to the States with him and they all ate them, including Teresa's parents who lost their house in Hurricane Katrina. Anyway, Teresa is keen to order more Balls plus some Fudge Brownie Cookies. She's a fun person, plus she orders my stuff. This could be the start of something good.
