Road trip day one

Michael left this morning just after 10am. I've had a couple of text messages from him (telling me about dinner amongst other things). Tonight is Stuttgart. Girls have been good. I picked them up from school and garderie, they had baked beans and a bread roll for lunch, Charlotte went down for her nap at 1pm and Lily watched the Wizard of Oz (Mum and Dad bought it for her on dvd and she loves it. When they were here she said she was Dorothy, Dad was the Wizard, Mum the Scarecrow, Charlotte the Tin Man. I think Daddy was the Lion and I'm not sure who I was!). This afternoon I went to the post office with them, then they played downstairs around the fountain. Lily has started climbing through the bushes (she discovered this on Sunday) and calls it fairyland. She was not happy when I said we had to come upstairs but it was getting cold and Charlotte was refusing to wear her coat.

Tonight they weren't so impressed with the lamb stew but the noodles went down a treat. Bit of fruit then Charlotte ate multiple bowls of Special K with red fruit and Lily had custard. Bath, book, bed no trouble.

I've made David's cookies for tomorrow (Blue Chip Chocolate Chip Cookies) so I'll be all ready to go once I've done the school and garderie drop-off/been for my walk/had my shower.

Now I should get ready for bed...notorious for staying up late when MK isn't here.
