Happy New Year - bye 2005!

Thought I better write this before it gets too late...and I've already had a Two Dogs (thanks Christine and David!) and glass of red which is a lot for me.

The girls had dinner before MK got home...they started on prawns (wasn't sure if Charlotte would like them but she bogged in), then fish fingers, potato cubes and peas and corn mix. After they had yoghurt (CPK her normal plain and LPK a pot of bio berry). Then they shared a pain d'spice (sp?) of pere noel left over from Nocturne de Pully. Oh, and a bottle of children's champagne from Migros.

When MK got home he gave the kids their bath, then story and bed. For dinner we had prawns as well, then Steak with Rocket Sauce (Donna Hay 'The Instant Cook' p108 - thanks for the recommendation Ange!) with Sesame Sweet Potato (marie claire 'Food Fast' p134) which were both really nice. The wine was a Wyndham Estate Bin 555 Shiraz 2002 (courtesy of Bec and Josh).

And dessert is now ready - Caramel Dumplings, a yummy cold weather dessert even if it is a WW recipe.

Didn't get a chance to do my Year in Review post so will be back next year to do it!
