TV and the girls

Lily was a square eyes from when she was a little baby. Her eyes would follow the tv while we were feeding her. I thought this was normal. Then came Charlotte who couldn't have been less interested in the tv. While Lily sits there (and would sit there happily for hours) Charlotte is off playing or doing something.

But just recently it's started to change...my round eyes is turning into a square eyes. Hooray!!!!* I think the conversion happened with a Baby Einstein dvd (not something thats played often, but Lily must have asked for it). Since then C has asked for 'turtle' (which I think is the BE dvd she first saw) and Wiggles. And it's very cute as both girls sit on the green recliner chair together and watch.

*I know I'm not supposed to be happy but honestly, I'd rather a kid who watches tv to one who doesn't. Maybe I'll live to regret this, but for now it works.

Edited to add: It is now 5pm and I just went to check on the girls - Charlotte is asleep on the green chair next to Lily! We didn't put her down for a nap today in hopes she'll sleep better tonight (she was up around 11pm, then again at 5am) so it's no surprise. And Lily is still glued to the tv...no surprise there either.
