Growing Up

MK had today off so after Charlotte woke up around 7am and he fed her breakfast he went back to bed. I don't usually fall asleep, well maybe nod off a bit but around 8am it was very quiet out there (Lily was still in bed). So I went out to find C doing a puzzle on the white couch. She had her back to me, standing, so I watched her while she did this 15 piece Ravensburger puzzle (Christine C gave her three of them for her b'day). And be buggered if she didn't do it herself. I pointed out a piece on the floor that had fallen and removed a piece that belonged to another puzzle but otherwise she did it all. Which is a good thing as I hate puzzles so she'll have more luck if she does them herself.

Then later today she had her ballerina outfit (a pink one-piece 'body' with tutu) and was asking me to put it on. I said she could do it herself, she said OK and took herself off. Came back later with it on bar the sleeves which we did together.

It's so hard to remember what Lily was able to do at this age and I know you shouldn't compare but it would be interesting...
