More job news

MK spoke with his boss on Wednesday, who emailed the big boss in Melbourne. As MK said last night, it's not good news and it's not bad news. MK is to submit his resume (CV) to the big boss. This guy is in the process of finding positions for the people in Melbourne whose dept is also disappearing. So he'll have MK's details as well. Plus, the company who all this is being outsourced to might have an on-site office in Melbourne (I thought all the work was going to India). Doing what MK is doing here. And they might want people who can come in and hit the boards running. Which MK could do. So that is also a possibility.

The boss here also indicated that June may not be the end, there may be another 3 month contract after that. This doesn't surprise me. My guess is the contract/position won't end till somewhere between September and December.

Best case scenario at the moment would see us returning to a job in Melbourne with the company who this is being outsourced to. Sometime in the second half of this year.
