Countdown to 40

Only 3 months to go! And it's going to be the best! Natasha, Stuart and the kids have been over from Adelaide this week so we've seen a fair bit of them. And Natasha has been asking what I want to do for my birthday. She has offered to fly over to Melbourne to celebrate with me! Talking about it with her these last couple of days has really spurred me on to planning The Weekend. And this is what I've come up with...Friday night dinner with Michael, Saturday (The Day) lunch with family (mine and Michael's) at a winery or somewhere like this close, Saturday night drive into Melbourne and meet Natasha there (she thinks she'll fly over on the Sat am), spend Sat night, all day Sunday and Sun night in Melbourne with Natasha, and invite Lizard along to join us. And anyone else who might want to fly in for the weekend! Monday around lunchtime drop Natasha off at the airport and head home HAPPY :)

And then there's the biggest gift I have already received for my birthday - Jen has booked and paid for me to visit her in San Francisco! It was the biggest surprise when she offered and I couldn't wait to organise it - I had the dates/details organised within days and Jen booked it straight away! So excited, and I feel so blessed. I leave on October 25th and I'm away for 16 days (exactly 14 days in San Francisco). Michael and my parents will look after the girls and are happy to do...I am one lucky woman :)

Turning 40 is going to be the best thing!
