Good news for Christmas

Just before they left for their trip to Australia recently, we invited Christine, David and baby Sophie to spend Christmas with us. Christine rang today (they're back in Cambridge) and said they are coming for Christmas! We are so excited, it will be lovely to spend the time with them and meet Sophie. They arrive Saturday 24th December and leave Wednesday 28th December. MK has Saturday and Sunday (Xmas Day) off, then working afternoon shift the rest of the week. Now we can plan a slap-up Xmas lunch ;)

Had my second French lesson with Stephanie today. It was 1.5hours and she asked me if this was OK which it definitely is for CHF50. Good price, good teacher. At the beginning of the lesson she raised the possibility that I work towards the Alliance Francaise exam in about 6 months, but a lot will depend if we are still here then. And geez, the thought of an exam doesn't thrill me. But she called me a Fake Beginner a couple of times which I took as a compliment!

I have just finished baking my orders for tomorrow, good thing too as tomorrow is going to be busy. In the morning, Teresa has invited us round to her place for a playdate. Then in the afternoon is the PM Children's Xmas Party which is always fun/hectic/crowded/worth going to. Both girls will get gifts this year which is fun for them.
