Ear infection

Last night my right ear and side of my face (like jawline) really started to hurt. I was watching The Misfits with Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable and wanted to see it through to the end so I just lay there on the green chair with my sore ear and face. I knew I'd need to make that dr's appt this morning.

So the Dr was able to see me at 9.30am (good time for me, with the girls in school and garderie). The pin prick blood test result was 21, which was lower than Wednesday (33). That's a good sign. My blood pressure was low (not a good sign) and my heart rate was normal (good sign). But when he looked in my right ear it was not a good sign - ear infection. I think it's more an inner ear infection which means it probably doesn't hurt as much as it could. Just feels very blocked. And I don't feel well. More nausea today than before. Thankfully I don't need antibiotics for the time being. He gave me the prescription but said to have it filled only if my ear gets worse. Or if liquid starts coming out. In the meantime he gave me drops for my ear (Otofa - Rifamycin) to take 3 times per day (5 drops). Drink lots. Don't get water in my ear. And to continue the aspirin.

Pneumonia. Ear infection. Bloody hell, I'm turning into Charlotte.
