Cupboard-cleansing chilli con carne

Yesterday I had the urge to make cornbread, so today I made chilli con carne. I'll make the cornbread tomorrow and we'll have the lot for dinner tomorrow night.

Anyway, the chilli con carne recipe is one I've had for a while but haven't pulled out in ages. It isn't hard but there's lots of ingredients. Just making this batch today I finished off some cumin that Jen gave me when she left (end of '02!), some chilli powder I'd had for ages, a thing of paprika, couple of bottles of vinegar that had a little bit in each bottle and an old bottle of cooking red wine.

I hope that's all the cleansing this chilli does.
