Where's the party?

Lily went to a birthday party at garderie this afternoon. Audrey attended garderie at the same time as Lily and her mum kindly invited Lily (she also went to her 3rd b'day party last year). So Yasmine and Maxim picked Lily up on their way to the party as Charlotte was supposed to be sleeping (yeah right...she woke when I went in to get a clean pair of tights for Lily who had an 'accident' in the bathroom). I picked Lily up later and noticed a bit of cake and some juice on the table. Was that all there was for the party? Yasmine told me that when Lily got to garderie she asked Yasmine where the party was...Yasmine was laughing when she told me that it was OK as no one understood what Lily was saying except her! And when we were leaving Lily was asking me where the sweeties/bon bons/lollies were...she had asked Yasmine and Yasmine had said Audrey mummy had forgotten to buy them! Of course I asked Lily if there was a b'day cake and she said there were two other cakes and they did sing happy birthday. But that was it re the food.

Yep, bit of a 'cultural difference'!
