From here to the end of the summer holidays

Mum arrives tomorrow! MK is on night shift again this week, so the girls and I will drive to Geneva airport in the morning to pick her up. Then Dad arrives next Monday. They leave the following Saturday (19th August), MK works dayshift that weekend then has a week off. It's the last week of the holidays and we'd like to go away somewhere. Driving distance, preferably.

But we want to be back by the Friday, as the next day (Sat 26th) is the work Family Picnic. The one big day of the year I never, ever want to miss. The work picnic party is the all laid on affair out in the sticks that has something for everyone...mainly loads of food and rides for the kids.

And the Monday after that (28th), the new school year starts, garderie returns and it's back to our regular weekly schedule.
