'Mum'

While we were in Croatia, Charlotte started calling my 'Mum'. Lily doesn't even call me that (still calls me Mummy). The only reason I can think of is she heard MK calling his mother 'mum'. No one else was saying it that I can remember.

It sounds strange to me, grown up for a 2.5 year old to be saying. And her latest thing is starting a sentence with 'Mum, can you .......' (fill in the blank). So just now it was 'Can you pick me up please?' in her cute, half stilted baby voice (she wanted me to carry her like a koala on my back).

Her language seems pretty good to me. Whole sentences, verbalises herself well. A positive to being a copy-cat.

Just not sure I'm ready to be a 'Mum'.
